    OMGoodness, this was not my 1st time here. I remember coming when they 1st opened. This is a great place if you're looking for Good Soul Food. I have never been disappointed w/ the Fried Chicken nor the Fish. I got the fish & hubby got the Fried Chicken. The sides were delicious. I had to give the Chef a handshake & the waiter was terrific. I looked around & everything was clean, ( esp the Floors) the ambiance was cool. I noticed a lot of people had orders To Go but that's a good thing. I live over 34 miles away & will definitely be back again & again. Thank you & please feel free to OPEN a 2nd Resturant in Chowchilla.

    Tastes just like my mother n laws gumbo! Delicious thick and dark roux. They stuff their bowls with meat and seafood. One of the best southern food restaurants we've tried.

    Ate here the food was great. Fried chicken was piping hot out of the fryer, crunchy and delicious. The Mac and cheese was great with a little crispuness and not too mushy. The greens were well seasoned and perfect. Service was good. Restaurant is great for families. Friendly staff
